A waiter can see the green icon on the bill holder even from a distance and he understands whether the bill has been paid or not. Then he can approach the table and take the paid bill without asking any questions.

Sometimes waiters need to approach a table and ask you whether you have already paid the bill or not. That creates a feeling of discomfort for us as well. With the solution we are suggesting a waiter will know for sure and will approach the table only after the bill is paid.

We are suggesting to put a sign on the bill holder that says “pay and flip”. On the backside of the bill holder we suggest to put a green icon that indicates that the payment has been done. A waiter can easily see that the bill is paid and can approach the table after this.
